本校學生於今年五月參加了香港樹仁大學杭州數字人文考察交流團，進行文化考察和知識交流。學生們以影片記錄沿途所見所聞，分享他們在交流團中的體驗和得著。影片及後用於參與杭港青少年交流共創計劃之2024杭州的數字人文觀察短視頻競賽，本校學生在競賽中發揮出色表現，榮獲冠亞季軍，優秀短片頒獎儀式亦於九月九日圓滿舉行。

In May, our students participated in the Hong Kong Shue Yan University Hangzhou Digital Humanity Exchange and Investigation Trip to, engaging in cultural exploration and knowledge exchange. Throughout the journey, the students documented their experiences and observations in videos, which were subsequently submitted for the 2024 Digital Humanities Observation Short Video Competition. Our students performed exceptionally well in the competition, securing the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up positions. The award ceremony for outstanding short videos was successfully held on September 9, 2024.

仁大學術副校長陳蒨教授代表香港樹仁大學致送紀念品予香港杭州政協之友聯誼會胡惠康會長，以感謝其支持及幫助促進是次交流活動。University Academic Vice President Professor Selina Chan, representing the HKSYU, presented a commemorative gift to Mr. WU Huikang, President of the Hong Kong Hangzhou CPPCC Friendship Association, in recognition of his significant role in fostering productive collaboration and cultural exchange between the two parties.

學生們非常高興能夠透過這次學習交流，探索杭州的文化遺產及科技發展。他們強烈推薦同學們參加我們學校舉辦的類似交流團，以下是得獎學生的感言： The students were delighted to explore Hangzhou’s cultural heritage and technological development through this learning experience. 我們要衷心感謝香港杭州政協之友聯誼會為我們搭建了這樣一個富有意義的交流平台。杭州，這座歷史與現代交織的城市，不僅以其秀美的自然風光和深厚的文化底蘊吸引著我們，更以其開放包容的城市精神激勵著我們不斷探索與創新。 這份榮譽將激勵我繼續前行，用鏡頭去記錄更多杭港交流的瞬間，傳遞更多的愛與溫暖。再次感謝香港樹仁大學的導師教授們的辛勤付出和悉心教導，以及香港杭州政協之友的支持。

We would like to express our gratitude to the Hong Kong Hangzhou CPPCC Friendship Association for providing us with such a meaningful exchange platform. Hangzhou, a city where history intertwines with modernity, attracts us not only with its beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural heritage, but also with its open and inclusive spirit, inspiring us to continuously explore and innovate. 在交流活動之前，我們對杭州的印象就是傳聞中「上有天堂，下有蘇杭」美麗的一個稱謂。但一直遺憾於沒有機會親眼目睹這座有此美譽的城市。就在這時，學校正好有機會給了我去見證這如此美麗城市的變化。

以前的杭州可能有美好的文化景色，但是隨著科技的變化，杭州人民運用了他們的智慧把這些科技融入生活，融入文明，讓我們中國的歷史能夠以更好的形象保留在歷史長河中。

Before the exchange, our impression of Hangzhou was merely the beautiful saying ‘Above there is paradise, below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou.’ We had always regretted not having the opportunity to witness this beautiful city in person. At this moment, the school provided us with the chance to witness the changes in such a beautiful city.

While Hangzhou in the past years may have had beautiful cultural landscapes. However, the people of Hangzhou have wisely integrated technology into life and civilization with the changes in technology, allowing our Chinese history to be preserved in a better light through the river of history.

本次的週年晚會也十分隆重精彩。品鑒了杭州特色美食-狀元糕、龍井酥等，也有幸欣賞了雜技、歌唱、越劇等多表演，深深感受到了杭州香港兩地文化的獨特魅力和深厚底蘊。杭州的表演以其優雅的傳統藝術和現代創新相結合，展現了西湖的美麗和江南水鄉的風情。無論是越劇、歌唱，還是現代舞劇，都讓人沈浸在濃郁的文化氛圍中。兩地的文化交流不僅豐富了觀眾的視野，也促進了兩地人民的情感聯繫。希望未來能有更多這樣的文化交流活動，讓更多人瞭解和欣賞兩地的文化之美。

The annual ceremony was very impressive. We enjoyed Hangzhou’s signature delicacies such as Scholar Cake and Longjing Tea Cake. Also, we were lucky to watch performances including acrobatics, singing, and Yue opera, deeply feeling the unique charm and profound heritage of the cultures of Hangzhou and Hong Kong. The performances combined elegant traditional arts with modern innovations, showcasing the beauty of West Lake and the scenery of the Jiangnan River Town. Whether it was Yue opera, singing, or modern dance dramas, we were immersed in a rich cultural atmosphere. Cultural exchanges between the two places not only enriched the audience’s insights but also fostered connections between the people. We hope to have more cultural exchange activities like this in the future so that  more people have the opportunity to understand and appreciate the beauty of the cultures from both places.
