Cheung Chau Trip: Buns, Ice & Beach Vibes!🍉
You can’t come to Hong Kong without visiting Cheung Chau! So, what’s the first epic adventure for our exchange students? Making Ping On Buns—super cute, steamed buns that bring good luck and safety! Watching everyone knead that dough so carefully was just so adorable!
They also dived into a traditional ice factory and became little “ice experts” for the day! Feeling that chilly ice and learning how it is made on the island was a blast. And guess what? A super refreshing trip to the beach! With icy cold watermelon and mango in hand, they raced into the sea for some splash-tastic time!
Dragon Boat Racing: Splashes, Speed & Squad Goals! 🐲
This Dragon Boat Festival, we brought one of HK’s coolest traditions straight to our students! We hosted an awesome dragon boat experience, and our exchange crew jumped in with both hands—and paddles! Rowing together, chanting loudly, and racing across the water… but it wasn’t just about paddling—they bonded, laughed, and absolutely nailed the team spirit!
Dumpling Party: Wrap and laugh!🥟
It’s not just all about the outdoor fun—we love our cozy indoor hangouts too! As the weather cooled down, we thought, what’s better than hot, yummy dumplings? So, we took our exchange students to a local wet market to grab all the fresh ingredients and tasty goodies.
Back at the table, everyone got in on the action, trying their hand at folding dumplings. Some turned out perfect, while others were… let’s say, creatively unique! The room was bursting with laughter and the amazing smell of dumplings cooking. It felt just like home!
