Steps on applying for credit transfer
- Consult with Department Coordinator regarding the feasibility of your credit transfer.
- Submit your application to us by 30 May 2025.
- An internal screening/interview will be conducted.
- After the screening, you will receive a Credit Transfer Form from us.
- Complete Part I & II of the Credit Transfer Form and submit it to your Department Coordinator for approval.
- After completing the summer school and receiving the transcript from the host institution, please fill in Part III of the Credit Transfer Form.
- Send the completed Credit Transfer Form along with the transcript to us for further processing.

Means-tested Subsidy Students receiving means-tested student financial assistance from the Student Finance Office (SFO) or whose families are receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) are eligible to apply for the Subsidy Scheme for Exchange Activities – Means-tested Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for the Post-Secondary Students (Means-tested SSEBR): With Korea as the destination and 13/14 to 28 days in duration, the maximum level of subsidy for the Subsidy Scheme for this summer school programme is HK$6,500/9,000. The amount awarded to each eligible student is based on their approved level of student finance (as a percentage of the full grant) up to the maximum subsidy. Each student will be eligible for assistance under the Means-tested SSEBR only TWICE throughout their study in programme(s) at the same level of study in Hong Kong, irrespective of the amount of subsidy received. If you are eligible to apply, please submit your Application Form after receiving the Letter of Acceptance issued by the host institution. |
Non-means-tested Subsidy All full-time and local undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the Subsidy Scheme for Exchange Activities –Non-means-tested SSEBR: With Korea as the destination and 13/14 to 28 days in duration, the maximum level of subsidy for the Subsidy Scheme on this summer school programme is HK$1950/2,700. Each student will only be eligible to receive the Non-means-tested SSEBR ONCE throughout their study in programme(s) at the same level of study in Hong Kong.
