Centre for Global Engagement is dedicated to cultivating global awareness, fostering international collaborations and facilitating exchanges and interactions with non-local universities, overseas institutions, and international bodies including NGOs. We also provide opportunities for our students to study abroad for a semester or two and help internationalize the University.

Our Mission
We serve as a university-wide platform for:
- Augmenting international partnerships
- Promoting cultural exchange
- Disseminating the traditional Chinese culture and values upheld in the University’s philosophy
- Demonstrating the constant pursuit of the ideals embodied in the University’s motto “cultivating virtues of benevolence; broadening horizon and knowledge” (敦仁博物) to global students, scholars, and institutions
Our Vision
- Establish and maintain strategic overseas partnerships to enable worldwide connections and collaborations
- Coordinate and support academic departments in integrating global learning opportunities into curricula for students
- Formulate new initiatives that enhance global exposure, horizon and connections for both students and staff
- Attract overseas students to the University through transformative exchange programmes and cultural immersion activities
