Pembroke Cambridge Summer Programme ━ University of Cambridge
Introduction
The Pembroke summer experience encompasses world-class academic opportunities, an exciting and varied social programme and the unique life of a Cambridge student, for you to have an unforgettable summer abroad!
The Cambridge style of teaching means small classes with plenty of interaction between the lecturer and students. With student numbers being capped in lectures at 30 and seminars at around 15, you will have the chance to discuss ideas in a lively but intimate academic setting, develop your thinking and engage with other students from all over the world.
Please note that credit transfer is NOT acceptable for summer programmes.

Submission of Application
- Check and ensure that you fulfil the admission and English language requirements.
- Submit your application to the organiser.
- Fill in the online form of the International Unit for us to keep track of who has applied.
- The International Unit will assist you in preparing the official academic transcript, and brief you on issues related to summer programmes, but you are responsible for submitting your application to the programme organiser before the deadline, paying for the programme fee, arranging accommodation, securing a proper visa (if applicable), purchasing air tickets and insurance, etc.

| Means-tested Subsidy Students receiving means-tested student financial assistance from the Student Finance Office (SFO) or whose families are receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) are eligible to apply for the Subsidy Scheme for Exchange Activities –Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE): With the United Kingdom as the destination and 6 weeks in duration, the maximum level of subsidy for the Subsidy Scheme for this summer school programme is HK$18,000. The amount for an eligible student is calculated by the approved level of student finance (in terms of percentage of full grant) to the maximum level of subsidy for the Subsidy Scheme.Each student will only be eligible for assistance under the SSE ONCE throughout their study in programme(s) at the same level of study in Hong Kong, irrespective of the amount of subsidy received.
