Positive Feedback from our outbound and inbound exchange students!

Being a press member for the EU summit!

I joined MIMUN (a model of debate competition in Madrid) at UCJC as a press member for the EU summit. Comparing the debate competition in HK, MIMUN is more fun and professional. In the EU summit, I learned more about other countries, the topics of human rights and future challenges related to AI.

Undeniably meaningful and memorable Study Abroad!

The lecturers invited different psychologists to share their career with us. Thus, I was inspired by those psychologists and spent time to consider my future
career. Besides, I met a group of British and German friends. We went to Halloween party, trips in Bath and London during Christmas
.

This exchange was a pivotal chapter in my educational journey!

I became a member of multiple societies, such as the Casual Sports Society, International Society, and Walking Society in LJMU. Engaging in these events gave me the chance to interact with students from various nations, gain insights into diverse cultures, and participate in a wide range of experiences.

Miss my new friends so much!

I participated in Dance Club at CAU, where I experienced Korean culture, such as the Korean culture of “Second Round”(2차) and the Senior-Junior Relationship. One of my new friends brought me to the 1MILLION Dance Studio, a famous dance studio in Korea, and had dancing classes with me.

Gained a profound understanding of Austrian culture!

The ski trip to Flattach was my first skiing experience and an opportunity to form lasting friendships. Engaging in recreational activities added joy and camaraderie to my overall experience. Besides, exploring Hallstatt and Seegrotte Hinterbrühl with new friends provided a unique perspective on Austrian history and natural beauty.

Inspired me to be proactive with people!

The Head of the History Department reminded us not to forget to experience the nature and culture of Leicester and the UK. It was a very inspiring reminder, as he provided the most complete perspective of a country. This exchange experience has provided me with a wealth of knowledge in language, history, and fieldwork.

My social skills underwent a remarkable transformation!

The most significant takeaway from this exchange experience was a boost in my confidence. I learned that shyness should never hinder one’s ability to form connections and communicate with others. Overcoming my initial hesitation, I actively engaged in conversations with Japanese people whenever the opportunity arose.

Inspired me to be proactive with people!

I used to live in single occupancy in the student hall. Initially, I felt lonely and missed my family and friends in Hong Kong, but I knew I had to get used to it. Living alone was a great opportunity for me to become more independent and learn to solve problems on my own.
