Submission of Individual Application
- Check and ensure that you fulfil the admission requirements.
- Fill out the online form for us to keep track of who has applied. It is highly beneficial for us to assist with your application.
- Submit your application to the University of British Columbia.
- If you need Proof of Student Status/Transcript for application, please apply for the documents through the Registry here.
Submission of Group Booking
- Check and ensure that you fulfil the admission requirements.
- Submit an application to the Centre for Global Engagement by 23 March 2025 (for July session only).
- The Centre for Global Engagement will nominate you to the UBC after internal screening.
- After reviewing the group application, instructions on paying the program fee will be provided from UBC. Please complete the remaining application process on time.
- You will receive the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) once the payment and application is approved.
- Please apply for the related Visa once you receive the LoA. Do remember to allow sufficient time for visa application.

Means-tested Subsidy Students receiving means-tested student financial assistance from the Student Finance Office (SFO) or whose families are receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) are eligible to apply for the Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE) of the Education Bureau. With the Canada as the destination and 4 weeks in duration, the maximum level of subsidy for the Subsidy Scheme for this summer school programme is HK$19,000. The amount for an eligible student is calculated by the approved level of student finance (in terms of percentage of full grant) to the maximum level of subsidy for the Subsidy Scheme. Each student will be eligible for assistance under the SSE only ONCE throughout their study in programme(s) at the same level of study in Hong Kong, irrespective of the amount of subsidy received. If you are eligible to apply for SSE please submit your Application Form after receiving the Letter of Acceptance issued by the host institution. |
