於2024年5月14日，我校30名學生飛往杭州，展開為期5天的「2024杭港青少年交流共創計畫暨香港樹仁大學杭州數字人文考察交流團」。杭州市政協主席馬衛光、副主席馮仁強、秘書長柴世民、香港樹仁大學學術副校長陳蒨教授亦一同參與此次活動。
On 14 May 2024, a delegation of 30 students from our university embarked on a 5-day “2024 Hangzhou Digital Humanity Exchange and Investigation Trip” to Hangzhou. The delegation was accompanied by esteemed representatives from the Hangzhou Chinese People’s Political Consultative Congress (CPPCC), including Chairman MA Weiguang, Vice Chairman FENG Renqiang, and Secretary-General CHAI Shimin. Additionally, the group was led by Professor Selina CHAN, Academic Vice President of Hong Kong Shue Yan University.
從踏入博物館和美術館的殿堂，到走進高科技公司，同學們不僅感受到了杭州悠久的歷史和充滿藝術的獨特氛圍，更深刻體驗到了其創新科技所帶來的無限可能性和發展潛力。這對於同學們的職業規劃和人生目標帶來了新的啟發，希望未來能夠實現夢想並為社會貢獻自己的力量。
The itinerary of the visit included tours of museums, art galleries, and high-tech companies in Hangzhou. This multifaceted programme not only provided students with insights into the city’s rich history and distinct artistic character, but also explored the boundless possibilities and development potential of innovation and technology. This experience served to inspire the students’ career aspirations and life goals, motivating them to strive towards the realization of their dreams and to make meaningful contributions to society in the future.

I visited many high-tech companies, such as the Hangzhou Binjiang Cultural District and Cainiao Smart Logistics Network Limited, as well as cultural attractions such as the National Art Museum, National Gemstone Gallery, and West Lake. These experiences gave me a deeper understanding of technological development and cultural charm of Hangzhou. I was highly impressed by the rapid technological growth of Hangzhou. I strongly felt Hangzhou’s leading role in the high-tech field as the visits to Binjiang Cultural District and Cainiao demonstrated advanced technology and innovative concepts.

菜鳥驛站，我第一次直觀清楚的看到了快遞被打包，分配還有運送的全過程，我很驚訝於AI能夠自動推薦快遞盒大小，設計最節省空間的快遞擺放方式，包括後來的快遞分配和運輸，可以看到菜鳥已經形成了非常完整成熟的運輸鏈，幾乎不需要人工作業，全程機器搞定，這種時間短，效率高的科技與物流結合成功落實在了日常生活中，充分滿足人們的需求。
At Cainiao Station, it was my first time to watch the whole process of delivery being packaged, distributed and transported. I was surprised that AI could automatically recommend the most appropriate box size for delivery, design the most space-saving wrapping, and the most efficient distribution and transportation routes. Cainiao has developed a highly mature digital transportation chain, almost no manual work is required, while high-efficiency logistics are provided to meet our daily needs.

This study trip made me deeply aware of Hangzhou’s leading position in the digital economy and technological innovation, and the strong determination of Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government to drive innovation and growth. After visiting well-known enterprises such as Alibaba Group and NetEase, Inc., I was influenced by the innovative atmosphere and entrepreneurial spirit. I am now longing to work in Hangzhou in the future.

We visited the China Academy of Art on the first day in the morning. The Academy has a long history and rich cultural heritage. It also actively explores the combination of technology and cultural creativity. Upon exploring the Liangzhu Museum in-depth, I discovered that digital technology plays an important role in artistic creation and cultural inheritance, and such cross-border innovation impressed me greatly!

在這次交流中我更多的感受是感動和自豪。在良渚博物館中讓我知道良渚遺址被作為東亞最早的國家形態之一，實證了五千年文化中華文明；而良渚文化村不僅是一個住宅區，更是集藝術和文化為一體的居住區域，其社區凝聚力強。良渚博物館和良渚文化村相隔不遠，仿佛是跨越時空的對話，讓我感受到了杭州深厚的歷史底蘊和現代文明的完美結合。
I was touched and proud of what I experienced during the exchange. Through the Liangzhu Museum, I understand that Liangzhu heritage site is one of the earliest forms of a state in East Asia, serving as empirical evidence of the five thousand years of Chinese civilization. The Liangzhu New Town is a residential area integrating art and culture with strong community cohesion. The distance between the Liangzhu Museum and the Liangzhu New Town is not far, just like a dialogue across time and space, making me feel Hangzhou’s historical heritage and modern civilization are perfectly integrated.

在參觀各個展覽的過程中，通過與各個領域專業人士的交流，讓我深刻體會到了文化與數位媒體的結合，能夠讓傳統的藝術煥發出新的生機。不僅認識到了當今快速發展的技術，還學到了許多專業相關的知識，拓展了自己的視野。令我意識到原來古樸典雅的杭州，如今也因為科技的發展而注入了新的活力。讓我更加認識到自身學科的重要性，應當多多瞭解前沿的技術，並且運用到實踐當中，落實到我們的生活。
Through visiting various exhibitions and interacting with professionals in different fields, I realised that the integration of culture and digital media rejuvenates traditional art. During the trip, I learned about today’s rapidly evolving technologies and numerous professional-related knowledge, thus widening my horizon. I realised that historical Hangzhou has now been injected with new vitality owing to technological change. I became more aware of the importance of my study. I hope to learn more about cutting-edge technologies and adopt them into our lives.

普遍的交流會學生多以旁觀者身份參與，而這次政協座談能讓學生全程參與，除了各個行業的精英向我們傳授經驗之外，也可以以輕鬆的氣氛跟她們聊天或請教問題，她們很願意分享自己創業的背景和建議。希望將來還有機會在杭州或香港見面。
Normally students participate in seminars or sharing sessions as observers, but for this forum organised by Hangzhou CPPCC, we could participate in full. Elites from various industries shared their experience with us. We could chat or ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere. The Hangzhou CPPCC members were willing to share their backgrounds and advice on starting businesses. I hope to meet with them again either in Hangzhou or Hong Kong.

在這次交流活動中，我最深刻的就是去使用AR和VR眼鏡。在利用他們玩遊戲的時候，我感受到科技帶來的魅力，我能夠從3D的畫面真實地感受到遊戲角色的衝擊力，比如說打怪的時候，怪獸飛爪的動作猶如真的一樣撲面而來，讓人沉浸進去。
During this study tour, what impressed me most was the use of AR and VR glasses. When wearing the glasses for video games, I truly felt the charm brought by technology. With the 3D display, I felt like I was one of the characters in the game. For example, when fighting monsters, the claws of the monsters were like hitting me right in the face. You can’t help but immerse yourself in the game.

Apart from a visual feast and the satisfaction of my taste buds, what I gained most through this trip was a touch of my soul. I felt at home because of the genuine hospitality of the Hangzhou people. Their innovative spirit made me full of expectations for the future. This experience consolidated my belief that the complicated world can be simplified through the power of technology. We can achieve more by doing less so that more people can enjoy the beauty of life. What I learned from this study tour will motivate me to work hard, learn more, and be passionate and innovative in the future.

「最憶是杭州」是一個令我印象深刻的中國式的大型中西融合表演，其中廣為流傳的高山流水古琴曲和梁祝對唱令我感歎，有人說友情是桃花潭水深千尺，愛情是梁山伯與祝英台。透過這個表演，我深刻感受到知音難覓難能可貴和化蝶前那一夜的等待。
I am highly impressed by “Enduring Memories of Hangzhou,” a local-style large-scale Chinse and Western fusion performance. I am touched by the famous pieces namely “High Mountain Flowing Water,” a performance of ancient Chinese plucked stringed instrument Guqin, and “The Butterfly Lovers Concerto.” Someone said friendship is like “a thousand-feet-deep peach blossom pond” (桃花潭水深千尺), and love is like the tragic romance between the butterfly lovers LIANG Shanbo and ZHU Yingtai. As I watched the performance, I felt profoundly that good friends are hard to find, and the waiting on the eve before turning into a butterfly.

We had the chance to see “Impression West Lake.” Using the natural beauty of the lake and its surroundings as props, an artistic performance was created that fully embodies the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.
