Let’s relive the magic! The Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished Chinese tradition that celebrates family, delicious mooncakes, and all things harmonious and bountiful.

On September 29th, CGE hosted its very first Mid-Autumn Creative Lantern Competition, and it was a fantastic experience! Our exchange students from around the world gathered to dive into this vibrant culture and enjoy the enchanting festivities together. 🌟

But that’s not all! CGE also treated everyone to delicious traditional double-yolk lotus seed paste mooncakes and delightful Snowy Mooncakes. The students couldn’t get enough! Many were so excited that they planned to take some back to share with their fellow international friends. Margarita TIKHONOVA, an exchange student from Russia, exclaimed, “The mooncakes have a unique flavor—I’ve never tasted anything like them before!” What a sweet memory!

The event wrapped up on a super high note! CGE is thrilled that these cultural experiences help exchange students gain not just academic insights but also a rich appreciation for Hong Kong’s local traditions. It’s all about making their overseas journey even more unforgettable and meaningful! 🎉✨

And guess what? We have a short clip showcasing all the fun our students had during the event! Be sure to check it out here and relive those joyful moments! You won’t want to miss it!
